AltAProM began delivering Hazard Studies In 1996 and although its main focus changed to engineering and project management it continues to be involved in Process Safety as a core competency.
The list now includes some 25 HAZID, HAZAN, HAZOP, Hazardous Areas, SIL and LOPA studies across Oil and Gas, Minerals and Chemicals Processing and First of a Kind Alternative Energy and Technology developments. Although we are ICI trained and use their proven HAZOP process and facilitation we have extended the approach and customised our guidewords. We combine continuous and batch processes into a unified approach so that we can apply these to many manufacturing industries that use batch and semi batch processes. We are not restricted to oil and gas Our approach is one of Active Facilitation and Interaction. This ensures that our many years of experience across a variety of industries and processes are added to the discussion. This enables learnings from allied industries to be considered and provides an extra dimension sometime missing from the more commonly used approaches. |
